Project LIFT - (Leveraging Intelligence-Focused Training)

OIC of South Florida Project LIFT will provide TRAINING, CHILD CARE and SUPPORTIVE SERVICES, JOB PLACEMENT and ADVANCED SUPPORT to 400 low – medium skilled parents in Broward County to advance their careers in Informational Technology and Advance Manufacturing Industries. This program will prioritize the needs of the participant by addressing child care needs of parents that are seeking education and training.

Earn higher wages through advanced training and job placement assistance. All trainings are free for eligible participants.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • 17 years or older
  • Must have proof of high school or GED completion
  • Must be a custodial parent,  legal guardian or foster parents with:
  • At least one child that is 13 years of age or younger; or
  • At least one child with a disability or developmental delay that may exceed 13 years of age
  • Meet eligibility requirements based on family size
  • Must reside in Broward County
